We at “Meu Anfitrião” take your privacy and the protection of your data seriously. Therefore, we have created our Privacy Policy (“Policy”) so that you, our user (“Users”), can verify i) what personal information is collected; ii) how such personal information is used and shared; and iii) what privacy rights our users have.

Our Policy applies when you use our websites, fill out our forms, or contract our services.

By accessing the website, the user acknowledges being solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and authenticity of the data provided, and further undertakes to safeguard, keep confidential, and properly use any registered login and password.

Cookies are small text files (usually encrypted) that are stored in browsers after the user accesses a website. Through them, it is possible to identify the device used to access the website.

Acronym for Customer Relationship Management, which refers to the management of customer relationships.

Information relating to an individual that is capable of identifying the person or making their identification possible.

The Internet Protocol, whose purpose is to identify each device connected to the network through a unique number.

Processing

Any form of use we may make of your Personal Data, including, but not limited to, the following activities: collection, storage, consultation, use, sharing, transmission, classification, reproduction, deletion, and evaluation.

WHEN AND WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED

Meu Anfitrião may collect data whenever there is active and voluntary interaction by the user when registering on the website and also through the use of our communication channels, including: (a) corporate WhatsApp accounts (Meu Anfitrião central and emergency service), (b) communication through platform chats (Meu Anfitrião, Airbnb, Booking, Expedia, and others), (c) contact by email, (d) website registration, and (e) telephone contact via landline.

Website visitors’ browsing data

IP addresses used;

Clicks; and

Visit duration.

This data is collected through “cookies,” which makes your online experience easier, faster, and more accessible by saving browsing information.

In addition to the payment instruments used, the date and time, payment amount, payment instrument expiration date, and billing ZIP code, PayPal email address, user address, and other transaction-related information may also be collected as a means of preventing and combating fraud.

Documents collected

To carry out and finalize reservations, the following documents must be submitted:

Photo of the front and back of an identification document: Brazilian ID (RG), Driver’s License (CNH), RNE, and passport for foreign users;

Birth certificate or another official document showing the relationship in the case of minors (As provided by Law No. 8,069/1990, identification of the minor is required to make the reservation.)

Photo of the reservation holder holding the identification document.

Facial biometrics: image of the reservation holder’s face (selfie), collected during digital check-in.

PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTION

The personal data collected may be used in the following ways:

✔ To enable the use and experience of the contracted services;

✔ To conduct statistics, studies, research, and surveys relevant to activities and behavior in the use of the Services, carrying out such operations anonymously;

✔ To allow participation in promotions and the distribution of marketing materials;

✔ To process payments and enable the provision of the service offered by the website;

✔ For communication purposes, including sending important notices and notifications related to the user, such as changes to this Policy, new products/services, and satisfaction surveys;

✔ To comply with legal obligations and defend rights, and may be used to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, as well as to defend rights in judicial or extrajudicial disputes;

✔ To process payment for the products selected by the user; To respond to user requests;

✔ To implement and provide improvements/enhancements to the provision of services itself.

IDENTITY VERIFICATION AT CHECK-IN

Since access to the properties is self-service, with no in-person reception, Meu Anfitrião verifies the identity of the reservation holder before granting entry. To do so, registration data (name, CPF and date of birth) and facial biometrics (selfie) are checked against official government databases through Serpro’s Datavalid service, in accordance with Senatran regulations. The legal bases for this processing are the performance of the lodging contract (art. 7, V, of the LGPD) and fraud prevention and the security of the data subject in identification processes (art. 11, II, "g", of the LGPD). The data is used solely for this verification, and the data subject may review the records of this processing on the Citizen’s Digital Privacy Portal (cidadao.pdc.serpro.gov.br).

DATA SHARING

Users’ personal data will always be shared within legal limits, especially in accordance with Law No. 13,709/2018 (“LGPD”), always taking into account the purposes of the relationship between the website and the user and the business conducted by “Meu Anfitrião.”

Users’ personal data may be shared with companies within the same group, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, suppliers, and service providers for legitimate purposes, as follows:

✔ To conduct the personal data processing activities described above, including storage of the collected personal data;

✔ To comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations;

✔ For the exercise of legitimate interests;

✔ As a means of preventing fraud and protecting users’ data.

Partners are only authorized to use personal data for the purposes for which they were contracted, and are prohibited from using users’ personal data for purposes other than those related to the provision of services established contractually.

DATA STORAGE

Users’ personal data will only be stored for the time necessary to achieve the purposes presented herein.

For auditing purposes and preservation of users’ rights, data may be stored for a maximum period of 5 (five) years from the cancellation of any access account, and may be extended for a longer period when required by law or regulation or for the preservation of rights.

USER RIGHTS

Under the LGPD, users have rights and guarantees regarding their data. We provide mechanisms, detailed below, so that our users have clarity and transparency in exercising their rights.

Users may:

✔ Request details and/or a copy of their data stored by Meu Anfitrião;

✔ Change or correct their data upon request by email or WhatsApp;

✔ Confirm the existence of data processing;

✔ Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;

✔ Request the anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed in violation of the LGPD;

✔ Request data portability to another service or product provider, upon express request, in accordance with the regulations of the National Authority, subject to commercial and industrial secrets;

✔ Delete personal data processed based on the data subject’s consent, except in the cases provided for in Article 16 of the Law;

✔ Request information about public and private entities with which the Controller has shared data;

✔ Request information about the possibility of not providing consent and the consequences of refusing to provide it;

✔ Request withdrawal of consent, pursuant to § 5 of Article 8 of the Law.

DATA PROTECTION

Meu Anfitrião stores data in operational environments that use technical and administrative security measures to prevent any unauthorized access and accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, communication, or dissemination, using security technologies and procedures to help protect personal data against improper access, such as the use of two-factor authentication to access the system, which the user must configure.

All collected data is stored in a secure and controlled environment for a minimum period of 6 (six) months, pursuant to the Brazilian Internet Civil Rights Framework (Marco Civil da Internet).

Data may be stored on our own servers or on servers of a third party contracted for this purpose, whether located in Brazil or abroad, in accordance with the LGPD.
